Dubai as a Destination
History
1830 Originally a small fishing settlement,
Dubai was taken over by a branch of the Bani Yas
tribe from the Liwa Oasis led by led by the
Maktoum family who still rule the emirate today.
1966 Oil was discovered which was and Dubai's
first oil exports started in
1969 Dubai's first oil exports jump started the
era of commercial trade boom, with India and
Iran.
1971 British withdrawal. 7 Trucial States of
Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain,
Fujairah and (in 1972) Ras Al Khaimah to create
the federation of the United Arab Emirates.

Dubai City Tour - Old Part (Half day)
The City tour of Dubai introduces both the new
and the old parts of Dubai. Our tour starts off
at the Jumeira Mosque, one of the landmarks of
Dubai. We drive along the creek of Dubai, which
is the Lifeline and pulse of the city. A short
stroll through the narrow lanes of Bastakia
followed by a visit toThe Dubai Museum. We cross
the creek in an Abra (Water taxi ). Proceed to
the world famous Gold & Spice Souk, where the
group can experience an aroma of eastern spices
and a profusion of gold. (Please note that the
Spice Souks are closed on Friday).Dubai is known
as the city of Gold. “Golden Mile” is about 300
shops all-existing on one lane, which is most
probably the largest retail market of its kind
in the world. The glittering gold is still
fascinating the mankind as it did for thousands
of years. All the shops are almost identical to
next, with scarcely a security bar or burglar
alarm in sight. Bargaining is customary. Dubai
is one of the most advantageous places in the
world today to buy the precious metal – gold.
Dubai City Tour – Modern Part (Half day)
This is a journey into the fastest developing
city on the planet, the Dubai of tomorrow. The
tour includes the Palm Island - referred to as
the eight wonder of the world; Dubai Marina –
the world’s largest master planned waterfront
development of its kind; Emirates Hills,
offering the ultimate lifestyle experience;
Dubai International Financial Centre – the
future commercial hub of the region; the
Internet and Media Cities. The models of these
astonishing projects can be viewed along with a
full presentation of the more exciting future
projects this city has set its heart on.
Sharjah City Tour (Half day)
Visit the cultural metropolis of the Middle
East, which is approximately 15 minutes drive
from Dubai the center for Museums and artists.
Start of the tour at the cultural roundabout
with a visit to the Al Majara souk, the Al
Naboodah house and the traditional Al Arsa souk.
We end our tour with a visit to the distinctive
souk , with its domed roof and intricate
mosaics, where more than 600 shops sell jewelry,
antiques, carpets, clothes and a variety of
other items. On the other side of the souk you
can admire the biggest mosque in the U.A.E. “the
King Faisal Mosque”.
Abu Dhabi City Tour (full day)
From Dubai, we travel past the World’s largest
man-made port at Jebel Ali through coastal
Scenery, studded with acacia trees. Abu Dhabi is
the capital of the United Arab Emirates, which
is a high-rise cosmopolitan metropolis, which
dynamically combines the roles of State capital,
Federal capital, booming business center and
blossoming tourist destination. Popularly known
as the ‘Manhattan of the Middle East’, Abu
Dhabi, the capital city of UAE has an
interesting combination of skyscrapers,
mangrove-fringed sandy shores and historic
buildings. A drive along Abu Dhabi’s Corniche (a
famous seafront boulevard) gives you a glimpse
of the refreshing environs of this island city.
Sit back and enjoy the picturesque setting of a
beautiful dhow harbour dotted with colorful
yachts and dhows.
Al Husn Fort, the oldest building in Abu Dhabi,
houses the museum and is home to other cultural
activities such as the theatre. Learn more about
the unique heritage of the UAE at the Heritage
Village. The traditional Bedouin lifestyle has
been reconstructed in the form of displays,
photographs and handicrafts.
Evening Dhow Cruise
What could be more exciting when you Cruise
aboard one of the traditional wooden vessels
called the Dhows, which offer an intriguingly
and enchanted view of the City of lights, Dubai
by night, Enjoy a scrumptious deluxe
international Dinner buffet, accompanied by the
haunting Arabic music, this is followed by
fragrant Arabic coffee and traditional sweets on
board the Dhow, as it glides and slips silently
along the Dubai Creek into the night. As you
cruise down the Creek aboard one of these
traditional wooden vessels you will see the old
wooden Dhows and luxury yachts parked along the
Creek, and the breathtaking examples of modern
architecture, buildings like the National Bank
of Dubai and the spectacular Chamber of Commerce
& Industry building. You also pass by Sheikh
Saeed's House, the birthplace of Sheikh Rashid,
and the Heritage Village, which are reminders of
an era gone by.
Sunset Safari with BBQ Dinner
No visit to Dubai would be complete without a
trip into the Desert; you can experience the
magic of the Desert and a Dune drive adventure
on the magnificent dunes of Dubai. We offer you
the opportunity to experience the magical
“essence of the desert” Our vehicle will take
you on a roller coaster ride through the
majestic dunes. In the late afternoon just in
time you will reach the top of dune, where you
will admire the beauty of a desert sunset.
Thereafter proceed to the campsite for a
sumptuous BBQ Dinner. A feast of barbecued
meats, fresh salad and fruits will be laid out
around a bonfire. Beer, Wine and soft drinks
will be made available during dinner.
Al Ain Tour (Full day)
Known as the “Garden City” Al Ain is
approximately one and half hours drive from
Dubai. Twenty years ago, Al Ain (meaning source
in Arabic) was a group of six small villages
clustered around trees and fresh water springs
of a natural oasis. Each village having it’s own
Falaj, an ancient underground Irrigation system,
some more than 2000 years old - bringing water
to the date groves which provided a livelihood
for the people. An important stop on the caravan
trails, it is an important archaeological
destination in the UAE with its Hili tombs
dating back to the Bronze Age. Explore the
culture, beauty and history of the beautiful
garden city of Al Ain on this tour. You will
pass by the archaeological Hili tombs dating
back to 5000 years and surrounded by marvelous
botanical gardens. Get a glimpse into the
history and culture of the Bedouins at the
largest museum of the Emirates, Al Ain Museum.
Wander down the traditional camel market that
lends the town a special rustic atmosphere. At
the foot of Jebel Hafeet are hot springs. The
area has been turned green with picnic spots.
The springs are diverted along shallow channels-
ideal for bathing the feet in steaming
therapeutic waters. Al Ain is a fantasy of
greenery and flowers in the middle of the golden
dessert!
Optional lunch at Jebel Hafeet. Standing guard
over the city is the dramatic Jebel (Mountain)
Hafeet, at 1,340 meters the highest mountain in
the UAE. A 13 km winding road leads to the top
and on a clear day there are splendid views
across the desert and the city.
East Coast (Full day)
The tour starts off from Dubai visiting the
northern Emirates of Dubai. The East coast lines
on the Indian Ocean, the two main cities are
Khorfakkan and Fujeirah. This impressive stretch
of lush coastline makes a dramatic change, with
steep mountains, un-spoilt sandy bays and
beaches, ancient fortresses and date palm groves
sloping down to the edge of the Indian Ocean.
Enjoy stunning views of the Persian Gulf from
the coastline, which is dotted with coastal
fishing villages. Take a trip to the Al Bidya
mosque, an important archaeological site that
has finds dating back to 1000 BC. Discover the
300-year-old Fort of Fujairah and the mountain
dwellers’ ruins near the port towns of
Khorfakkan and Fujairah. With dramatic scenery,
interesting archaeological digs and a glimpse
into the country’s rich heritage, an East Coast
excursion is a highly-recommended for every
visitor to UAE. Your last stop will be the
Friday Market, where your can shop for pottery,
carpets and range of traditional craftwork.
Full Day Hatta Safari
Depart by 4WD’s for a full day adventure to the
Hatta mountains and the desert. Hatta is an
attractive valley at the foothills of the Al
Hajjar mountain range and is often referred to
as “Backbone of the Emirates”. Our thrilling
drive over rolling sand dunes shows the
spectacular change in colour of sand from yellow
to rusty brown. Here we will see the desert
merging with winding mountain tracks as we reach
a scenic spot with pools of spring water and a
hidden waterfall inside a canyon.
In the winter months we can take a dip in these
natural pools as they fill up with water from
winter rains. On this safari, either a
picnic-lunch in the wadi, or lunch at a local
restaurant is. On the return journey to Dubai,
halt at the quaint camel market where you have a
good opportunity to observe these extraordinary
“ship of the desert”.
Wild Wadi (Full day)
It's wet! It's wild! It's Wild Wadi - the
wildest water park ever! Its 12 acres of pure
fun with 23 adrenalin-pumping rides that leave
you gasping for more. Situated between the Burj
Al Arab and The Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai,
it's just a 20-minute drive from the city
centre. Get there and go wild! Master Blaster
slides are best described as "uphill water
roller coasters". Riders can sit in either a
single or double ring and are propelled uphill
by high-powered water jets. The Master Blaster
rides include: White Water Wadi, Jebel Lookout,
Wadi Leap, Hos'N Hurler, Falaj Fury, Wadi
Twister, Wadi Basher and Flood River Flyer. Ring
Rides are downhill gravity slides. Riders sit in
either a single or double ring and enjoy a fun,
fast ride to the bottom of the slide. The Ring
Rides include Tumble Falls, Falcon Fury, Rushing
Rapids, Thunder Rapids, Tunnel of Doom, Summit
Surge and Rushdown Ravine. Falcon Fury - A short
but by no means sweet 58 metres ring ride.
Dubai Ski and Snow Park
Ski Dubai has 5 runs that vary in difficulty,
height and gradient, the longest run being 400
meters with a fall of over 60 meters. Test your
skills on the world’s first indoor black run or
practice your turns on the gentle beginner
slopes. Skiers and snowboarders of all skill
levels will enjoy these various slopes and
snowboarders can also practice their stunts in
the Freestyle Zone. Kids and parents alike will
have fun in the huge interactive Snow Park,
which at 3000 square meters is the largest
indoor snow park in the world.
You don’t have to worry about ski clothing or
equipment either. Ski Dubai has thought of it
all and offers guests the use of winter
clothing, ski and snowboard equipment. Your skis
will carry you down the slope, and our
quad-chairlift and tow lift will promptly carry
you back to the top for another run. Snow
activities in Dubai is a truly unique experience
and worth a try on your UAE excursion!

us to ensure the future protection of our marine
ambassadors – the seals and dolphins. Highly
interactive and talented Bottlenose Dolphins –
Senya, Sousha and Marfa- are performing amazing
displays and sequences based on their natural
behaviors. Born with a permanent smile, playful
and gracious bottlenose dolphins are an
unforgettable visual and emotional experience
for people of different ages.
Swim With The Dolphin
Here at the Dubai Dolphinarium, we can offer our
fortunate visitors the chance to swim with our
beautiful bottlenose dolphins. Our four dolphins
which include – two females and one male have
been working closely with people for many years
and are able to adjust well to one-on-one
interaction with the visitors every day.
Amazing, beautiful, incredible, stunning – these
are just some of the words used by our previous
visitors to describe their swim session. As our
visitors join our swim session, our Marine
Educator and training staff can share intimate
knowledge of these animals while you are
enjoying this swim experience. You will feel a
bonding experience to be close to this
magnificent creature your, very own personal
photographs will be taken with dolphins by our
own professional photographers, as a wonderful
memory for your experience as well. Limited
numbers are available for these sessions so book
early. Each visitor can understand just how
powerful they can be and so gentle all at the
